WCT – Women in counterterrorism: guidelines presentation in Madrid

Conclusions of WIIS Brussels report were the backbone of the discussions at the conference “Promoting the Role of Women in Security and Counterterrorism” in Madrid on April 18 2023.

Pauline Massart and Florence Ferrando present recommendations and practical guidelines to improve women’s participation and representation in the criminal justice response to terrorism, alongside with testimonies from reputed and renowned women in senior positions in counterterrorism (CT).

The full report will be available on our website on May 31, so stay tuned to access it: it is the crucial first step to mainstream a “gender by design” approach in CT activities!
